Oregon A cousin is honored The Vintage Oregon party will honor Pinot Gris, Noir’s cousin that has reached a flavor peak in Oregon vineyards that other regions have been unable to match, and is now produced by some 75 Oregon wineries. Full flavor is also the characteristic of wines being developed in southern Oregon, and these will also be showcased at the celebration. Participating chefs at Vintage Oregon include Jack Czarnecki of Dayton’s Palmer House, Jason Smith of the Dundee Bistro and Portland kitchen impresarios Corey Schreiber of Wildwood, Kenny Giambalvo of Bluehour, Chris Thompson of Backstage Café, Eric Laslow of Laslow’s Northwest and Rob Pando of Red Star Tavern & Roast House. Sponsors for the party include a Portland newcomer, Whole Foods Market and.eVineyard, Inc.
