| JFK: Breaking The News
PBS, 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 19, 2003 – Following the visual of the Rebel Flag, a youngish, very short haired woman appeared on the screen. My reception is fuzzy here, so while I can hear the audio perfectly, I cannot always see the picture clearly. As near as I could tell, she was in a setting which spoke of academics. It may also have been an office conference room. She had the large round glasses of the modern female “scholar.” The first time she opened her mouth, she testified to the total bias, the total Orwellian historical rewrite, that one has come to expect of public broadcasting. Here is what she said. :”There was a lot of right wing resentment about the President’s visit. This was because of his support of the civil rights movement.” That's the key. Remember it. Right wing means Republicans, of course. Republicans were against the civil rights movement. We'll ignore the fact that Charleton Heston marched in Alabama with Martin Luther King, Jr. He must have grabbed the wrong cross town bus and got there by accident. Right wing gun nuts aren't for civil rights. Now, prepare to be shocked. This is what Republicans and Democrats have historically done in the area of civil rights. You've read some of it before in Oregon Magazine, but bear with me. It has a terrific ending.. The Mason-Dixon line which separated the northern free states from the southern slave states before the Civil war also separated Lincoln’s Republicans from Davis’ Democrats. Slavery in America was ended in the North, by Republicans. It lasted longest in places where Democrats ruled, but the Republicans eventually finished it there, too. Jim Crow was invented by Democrats. The K.K.K in America was a Democrat organization. (In the 1922 Oregon gubernatorial election, the Democrat who won was also the official candidate of the K.K.K.). The 14th Amendment was opposed by Democrats. The Civil Rights Act of 1866 was opposed by Democrats. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was opposed by Democrats -- that opposition in the end taking the form of a 52 (one source says more than 90) day filibuster in the Senate. The last Democrat to participate in that filibuster was Senator Robert Byrd of Virginia, a former member of the K.K.K. Every single advance by black Americans from the end of slavery to the end of Jim Crow to calling out the National Guard to protect Rosa Parks was the direct result of actions by Republicans. The designation “radical” Republican originated in the U.S. Congress, and was the label attached to those men who ended slavery in the northern states, and eventually throughout the United States. (For the full story on that see "Ken Burns' Congress.") You are shocked that Democrats historically represent intimidation of the powerless, suppression of minorities and outright slavery? You want to know how in the hell the above can be true, since you have never heard any of this in school, in a movie, in the news or in a public broadcasting historical program about the asassination of JFK? It is because nearly all of those information outlets are controlled by liberal Democrats. That's why this PBS program is a load of leftist crap. If you look at the demographics of those who vote for Democrats, you will find people who think of themselves as victims, and whose beliefs (votes) are for sale to the highest redistributionist bidder. Read The Communist Manifesto. You will learn how Marx took the largest nation on Earth. His army, like all socialist armies, came from the poor, all of whom believed they were about to get what was coming to them. They couldn't have been more right. As Solzhenitsyn pointed out, the peasants cut their own throats in Russia. There is no private ownership of land in a socialist state. No freedom of the press. No right to travel where you wish, or live where you wish. And, no constitutional rights to redress those problems. Did you know that Stalin outlawed Jazz, just as he outlawed religion? How in God's name can any self-respecting black American be a liberal Democrat? He is spitting on his own soul! In a socialist state everthing is owned by the government -- including the people. People take another step toward the same thing in America every time they vote for liberal Democrats. But, these Americans don’t notice it because they see the world, interpret events, though the dark glass of the myth of liberalism – which is a fairy tale of false belief and false hope that they pass on to each succeeding unsuccessful generation. The group mind known as a “culture” learns slowly, over generations. One day blacks will come to realize their mistake, and that will mark the defacto demise of the Democrats in America. The survival of liberalism here at that point will depend on the movement’s ability to mimic what happened in China. They will have to find a way to label capitalism as socialism. Being past masters at calling black whtie and white black, I think they'll manage. Bob Schieffer of CBS, said on this program that the media first thought that Kennedy was killed by a right wing nut, but that Oswald turned out to be a very left wing nut. That is a perfect description of today's mainstream media, too. No matter what happens, if it's bad, it's the fault of right wing Republicans. If it's good, and it was accomplished by right wing Republicans, it's bad. The Republican right wing didn’t enslave blacks, it freed them.
Communism didn't save China from starvation, it prolonged the starvation
in China. Democrats aren’t “for the working man.”
Democrats despise capitalism, and so work to crush business, which reduces
wages, benefits and the number of private sector jobs. (Socialists prefer
government jobs to private sector jobs). And JFK, supposedly the young
god of the Democrats, couldn’t win a primary in his party, today. The general
election, he could win, because Republicans would love him. But, the party
primary? Not a chance. He would be despised even by the Democrats
