Colleges Sign 29
Oregon Recruits
A total of 29 Oregon prep gridders have signed college letters
of intent. Portland State inked a total of eight players to lead
the list, while their Big Sky Division 1AA rival Montana State snared four,
as did Division 1 Boise State. Oregon, Oregon State and Idaho each
signed a pair of Oregonians. Portland area high schools contributed
17 recruits, with Franklin leading all state schools with four signees.
Jesuit, McNary and Thurston each sent two grads into college play.
Three small school stars were signed, from Banks, Gold Beach and Regis
of Stayton.
