Sixty Minutes, which is the program that saved Bill Clinton from problems that cropped up in New Hampshire during his run for his first term, now tells us that a man should not be put away for stealing a pizza.

Here's the problem with that seemingly logical position.

If the man who steals the pizza is an habitual criminal who has already been convicted of two other felonies (and so has committed dozens of other felonies for which he was not arrested and tried), the picture changes.

When one of the criminals who was interviewed was asked what he would do when he finally got out (which proves calling it a "life sentence" is BS), the man said, "Move."

He's going to leave California, in other words.  Since, as Sixty Minutes pointed out in this piece, it costs a fortune to keep people in jail, this proves that those who voted for the three strike law were among the most intelligent citizens in America.

That idiot will never commit another crime in California, never again take up jail space and never cost the people of that state another dime.  Without the three strikes law, they'd be supporting him for most of the rest of his life, in addition to paying for the damage he did during the brief times he was free.

I don't often say nice things about California, and particularly about Governor Gray Davis.  But, they voted for that law, and when the moron lefties in the state legislature moved to begin the process of getting rid of the statute, Gray Davis vetoed their legislation.

The next segment on this award winning program was an attempt to justify anti-white affirmative action admission policies at American universities.  You are welcome to sit there like a sheep while these liberals argue for the release of habitual criminals, but if you're white, why in God's name do you let them champion racism against your own children in the name of racial justice?
